Today (23 Jan 2025), H.E. Ambassador Sumate Chulajata presented a copy of credentials to H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain as scheduled by the Bahraini side.

Both sides exchanged views on means to promote cooperation between Thailand and Bahrain in all dimensions. The Ambassador expressed his commitment to advancing cooperation in key areas, including trade and investment, food security, public health, and energy, as well as expanding collaboration to other sectors such as partnerships between academic institutions, which are areas of mutual interest for both Thailand and Bahrain.

On this occasion, the Ambassador extended an invitation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs to visit Thailand to attend the 4th High Joint Commission (HJC) meeting which the Ambassador will coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand to determine a mutually convenient date and time for both parties.
