Today (27 Jan 2025), H.E. Ambassador Sumate Chulajata paid a courtesy call on H.E. Shaikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) of Bahrain. The Ambassador reaffirmed Thailand's commitment to promoting cooperation in agriculture and food with Bahrain, to enhance food security and support Bahrain's efforts in afforestation.

On this occasion, H.E. Ambassador invited H.E. Shaikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa to preside over the opening ceremony and visit the Thai Pavilion at the Bahrain International Garden Show 2025, which will be held 19-23 Feb 2025, at Exhibition World Bahrain. For the Thai Pavilion, the Embassy has invited both public and private sectors to showcase food and agricultural products and innovations.
