Today (13 Jan 2025), Mr. Wannawat Em-ong, Second Secretary, represented the Embassy to attend the exclusive launch and information session of the "The Global Food Show" at The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel with Mr. Muktar Mirza, Director of Global Connections, gave the opening remarks, along with Mr. Bashar Kazerooni, Managing Director of Kazerooni Brothers, and Dr. AbdulHasan Al Dairi, Chairman of Bahrain SME Society, as keynote speakers.

The event will be held from May 5-8, 2025, at the Grand Hall, Exhibition World Bahrain. It will be the first exhibition in Bahrain that invites food industry entrepreneurs to showcase their products, exchange expertise, engage in business matching. This aligns with Bahrain's goal to become a hub for food security and tourism in the region. It is expected that around 100 companies to participate in this event.

On this occasion, Mr. Wannawat Em-ong met with business groups and representatives of diplomatic missions in Bahrain, exchanging views on business opportunities, especially for the SMEs, which will benefit from the upcoming exhibition.
