สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมานามา จัดงาน  Amazing Tastes of Thailand Fest 2016

สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมานามา ร่วมกับการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานดูไบและตะวันออกกลาง และหน่วยงานท้องถิ่นได้ร่วมกันจัดงานเทศกาลไทย Thai Festival 2016 ภายใต้ธีม Amazing Tastes of Thailand Fest ระหว่างวันที่ 5-11 กันยายน 2559 โดยได้จัดงานพิธีเปิดเทศกาลเมื่อวันที่ 5 กันยายน 2559 ภายใต้บรรยากาศเทศกาลลอยกระทง ณ โรงแรมโซฟิเทล ซัลลัค บาห์เรน โดยนายชยพันธ์ บำรุงพงศ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมานามา และนายเฉลิมศักดิ์ สุรนันท์ ผู้อำนวยการการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานดูไบและตะวันออกกลาง ร่วมเป็นประธานเปิดงาน โดยมีผู้แทนระดับสูงจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคธุรกิจ โดยเฉพาะด้านการนำเข้าส่งออกอาหาร การท่องเที่ยวและประชาสัมพันธ์ รวมถึงสื่อสารมวลชน เข้าร่วมประมาณ 250 คน

ภายในงานได้มีการจัดซุ้มอาหารจากร้านอาหารไทยชั้นนำในกรุงมานามาจำนวน 12 ร้าน ได้แก่  ร้านเงินทอง ร้านชฎา ร้านป๋องไทย ร้าน Thailand Gate ร้านเอราวัณ ร้านไทยบีช ร้านวังไทย ร้านอร่อยดี ร้าน Asia Classic ร้าน Banana Leaf ร้านชมภูนุช และร้านแม้วไทย นอกจากนั้น เชฟจากทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และร้านอาหารไทยได้ร่วมแสดงสาธิตการปรุงอาหารไทยบทเวทีร่วมกับดาราชื่อดังของบาห์เรนในกิจกรรมการแข่งขันทำอาหาร Bahrain Celebrities Live Cooking Show นอกจากนั้น ผู้เข้าร่วมงานยังได้รับความเพลิดเพลินจากการแสดงศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทยร่วมสมัยจากคณะแสดงสบันงา จ.เชียงใหม่ และชมการสาธิตการทำกระทง และเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับเทศกาลลอยกระทง พร้อมทั้งทดลองการนวดแผนไทยจากร้านชฎา ซาลอนและแอนสปา

Thai Week 2016

The Royal Thai Embassy in Manama in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Gulf Air, Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thallasa Sea& Spa, and ITL World, organized the Thai Week 2016 under the main theme ‘‘The Amazing Tastes of Thailand Fest 2016’ from 5-11 September 2016 at Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thallasa Sea& Spa. Throughout the Thai Food Festival, Bahrain residents and visitors will have the opportunity to avail several discounts and promotions from all participating Thai restaurants nationwide. 

On 5 September, the launching event was held at Sofitel Bahrain with exclusive 250 invitees. The guests enjoyed the showcase of special dishes from 12 participating Thai restaurants, namely, Aroy Dee, Erawan, Thailand Gate, Banana Leaf, Thai Express, Chompunuch, Asia Classic, Mawthai, Honey, Shada, Wang Thai, and Pong Thai, under Loy Krathong Festival ambience where the guests learned and observed ‘Krathong’ making demonstration. Guests also entertained by live performances from Sbun-nga, a well-known performance troupe from Chiangmai, Thailand,and a live Bahraini Celebrities Cooking Competition, and Thai massage from Shada Salon and Ann’s Spa.
