เมื่อวันที่ 11 สิงหาคม 2559 เวลา 19.30 น. สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมานามา ได้จัดงานเฉลิมพระเกียรติ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ เนื่องในโอกาสมหามงคลเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 7 รอบ 12 สิงหาคม 2559 ณ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ โดยมีนาย Khalifa Al Rumaihi อธิบดีพิธีการทูต สำนักพระราชวัง นายกรัฐมนตรีบาห์เรน และนาย Karim Al Shakar อดีตเอกอัครราชทูตบาห์เรนประจำประเทศไทย มีถิ่นพำนัก ณ กรุงปักกิ่ง เป็นแขกเกียรติยศเข้าร่วมงาน พร้อมกับข้าราชการ ลูกจ้างท้องถิ่น และชุมชนชาวไทยในราชอาณาจักรบาห์เรนเข้าร่วมงานประมาณ 120คน

           นายชยพันธ์ บำรุงพงศ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมานามา ได้กล่าวนำสดุดีเฉลิมพระเกียรติถวายพระพรชัยมงคลแด่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าฯ พระบรมราชินีนาถ และนำการเจริญจิตภาวนาเป็นเวลา 3 นาที จากนั้น ผู้ที่เข้าร่วมงานได้ร่วมจุดเทียนชัยถวายพระพรและร้องเพลงสรรเสริญพระบารมีและเพลงสดุดีมหาราชา เมื่อเสร็จสิ้นพิธีการ ผู้ที่เข้าร่วมงานเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมคัดเลือกแม่ดีเด่นเพื่อเผยแพร่คุณความดีของผู้ได้ที่ได้รับคัดเลือกให้เป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีแก่ชุมชนไทยในบาห์เรน จากนั้นผู้เข้าร่วมงานรับประทานอาหารค่ำร่วมกัน

The Royal Thai Embassy in Manama held the Celebration of Thai Community on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 7^th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 12^th August 2016

          On 11 August 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy in Manama held the Celebration of Thai Community on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 7^th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 12^th August 2016at the Royal Thai Embassy.

          Mr. Chayapan Bamrungphong, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Bahrain, presided over the ceremony where over 120 members of the Thai community in Bahrain attended to show their reverence and meditate to pay homage and their well wishes to the Queen of Thailand. Guests of honour include H.E. Mr. Khalifa Al Rumaihi, Director of Protocol, the Court of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain and H.E. Mr. Karim Al Shakar, former Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Thailand with residence in Beijing. 

          The ceremony is then followed by the “Outstanding Mother Contest 2016.”Outstanding mother of 2016 was nominated by Thai community in Bahrain and received the highest vote. The activity is a great opportunity to celebrate motherhood, maternal bonds and role model of mother in the community.
