On 5 April 2022, Mr. Piyapak Sricharoen, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to the Kingdom of Bahrain paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain. H.E. the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain extended a warm welcome to the Ambassador-designate, while the Ambassador expressed his deep honour at being appointed to further strengthen the longstanding friendship between the two Kingdoms and will work to promote cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, with focus on economic cooperation as well as regional cooperation.
