Mr. Suthiwit Soisuwan, First Secretary, attended the Ceremony of Diplomatic Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain at Shaikh Hamad Palace on behalf of H.E. Ambassador-designate Sumate Chulajata, whose call to present the copy of the letter of credentials is still ongoing.

 

The Ceremony was presided over by His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs; His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa; and Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Advisor to His Majesty for Diplomatic Affairs graciously attended the Ceremony. The attendees included senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, along with the heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited to Bahrain.

 

On this occasion, H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, congratulated Bahrain on its diplomatic achievements over the past year, particularly the successful hosting of the 33rd Arab League Summit. In this regard, the Minister also acknowledged the efforts of diplomatic missions and international organizations in Bahrain in strengthening relations with the Kingdom. (14 Jan 2025)
