On 3 October 2022, Ambassador-designate Piyapak Sricharoen paid a courtesy call on Dr. Mohamed Ali Bahzad, Undersecretary for Consular & Administrative Affairs. The Ambassador expressed his appreciation for Bahrain MOFA’s continuous support for the Embassy’s mission in looking after the well-being of the Thai community, such as COVID-19 vaccine administration and strengthening Thai SMEs in Bahrain. The Undersecretary in turn emphasized Thai community’s significant contribution to Bahrain’s society and economy, as well as their important role as the foundation for the strong and enduring relations between Thailand and Bahrain.
