On July 21, 2025, H.E. Mr. Sumate Chulajata, the Thai Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain and Chairperson of the ASEAN Committee in Manama, Bahrain (ACMB), hosted a farewell luncheon to honor the following individuals:

1. H.E. Mr. Steven C. Bondy, Ambassador of the United States of America, and his spouse, Ms. Meghan Bondy.
2. H.E. Ms. Anne Jalando-on Louis, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines.
3. Ms. Mouna Al Maaloul, Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Tunisia.
4. Mrs. Mirna Khawly, Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Lebanon.

This gathering took place at the Thai Ambassador's Residence to celebrate their completion of diplomatic service in Bahrain.

The luncheon was attended by several distinguished guests, including H.E. Dato Shazryll Zahiran, Ambassador of Malaysia, with his spouse Datin Zuraina binti Abd Ghani; H.E. Mr. Adri Hermawan, Ambassador of Indonesia, along with his spouse Mrs. Yulina Puspasari; and Mrs. Nazirah Zaini, Chargé d’Affaires of Brunei Darussalam.

During the event, Ambassador Sumate expressed his heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Mr. Steven, H.E. Ms. Anne, Ms. Mouna, and Mrs. Mirna for their successful tenures in Bahrain. He also conveyed his deep gratitude for their friendship and ongoing support of the diplomatic community's activities, wishing them all the best in their future endeavors.
