Thai E-Visa

• Effective from 19 March 2024, 6.00 AM (Bahrain local time), any person of any nationality residing in Bahrain (Bahraini nationals or holders of valid Bahraini Residence Permit) and wishing to apply for a Thai visa must submit their application, supporting documents, and pay the application fee online through the new online Thai E-Visa platform at

https://www.thaievisa.go.th/

• It is no longer required for applicants to submit their passports and original supporting documents at the Royal Thai Embassy in Manama, Bahrain.
• After the e-Visa application has been approved, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to applicants. The applicant is kindly requested to print a copy of the confirmation email to be presented at the point of departure and to immigration checkpoint in Thailand.
• All information must be filled correctly. Any inaccurate or false information provided will incur cancellation or rejection of the application.

* In-person application: The Embassy will continue to accept in-person visa applications until 17 March 2024 12.00 hrs. After 17 March 2024, the Embassy will no longer accept in-person applications in any circumstance. However, the Embassy may request the in-person interview if necessary.

It is therefore advised for all applicants to provide their email address and telephone number in this regard.

Please note that the visa fee is not refundable regardless of outcomes.

* Processing time: It takes at least 3 working days to get your visa upon receiving your application. It may take longer in certain cases.
