The message of condolences from His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua of Thailand to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, following the passing of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the late Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain :

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain,

            Manama.

I have learnt with deep regret of the demise of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, a much respected leader who devoted himself entirely to the promotion of stability and prosperity of his country. Of special importance to Thailand, His Royal Highness played such an invaluable role in strengthening the close ties of friendship between Thailand and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The people of Thailand will always cherish warmest memories of the visits made by His Royal Highness during the reign of my beloved father, first and foremost, as Your Majesty’s representative, attending the 60th Anniversary Celebrations of His late majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s Accession to the Throne in 2006 and, a decade later, the Royal Cremation of His Late Majesty the King in 2017.

I wish to express to Your Majesty and the Members of the Royal Family, as well as to the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain our profound sympathy and condolences for this great loss.
