The Royal Thai Embassy in Manama in partnership with Oasis Mall, Juffair, organized the second “Thai Street Market in Juffair” at the Oasis Mall Juffair’s main atrium between 25 – 27 May 2023.

Thai Street Market in Juffair is an event to promote Thai food, culture, and products in support of Thai tourism and the popularity of Thai culture in Bahrain.

Oasis Mall estimates that over 9,000 people visited the Street Market event over the three days, which is 11% higher than the same event last year, which reflects the continuing popularity of Thai food and products here, and the fact that Thailand remains a top family destination for Bahrainis and expats, especially during the school holidays.

Twenty-Four Thai vendors participated in the Street Market, including brands such as Anny Fashionable (clothes), Siam Secret (cosmetics), Barawkat (health supplements), Nouveau Riche, Naka Inter Trading, and Kumpee by Citrus (women’s fashion accessories).

FlyDubai Airline kindly sponsored two return ticket prizes for the Thailand Travel Quiz.

The Street Market was publicized in the Gulf Daily News newspaper, Bahrain This Week’s online platform, and local social media influencers such as Stuffed Faces and Bahrain Foodie helped promote this event. As a result, it helped increase the number of followers on Thai vendors’ social media as well as the Embassy’s social media, which represented a 12.1% increase from last month.
